Hegel Georg Wilhelm Friedrich. Encyclopedia of philosophical sciences in 3 volumes. Series: Philosophical heritage. Managing editor E.P. Sitkovsky. M Thought 1974-1977 452 + 692 + 472 pp., Hardcover. Normal format.

The "Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences" occupies a special place among the works of Hegel. Here Hegel seeks to present the main content of his philosophy in the most systematic and accessible form. "Encyclopedia" consists of three parts: "Science of Logic" (the so-called "Little Logic"), "Philosophy of Nature" and "Philosophy of Spirit". The first volume, "The Science of Logic," contains Hegel's doctrine of the dialectical development of the concept. The volume is supplied with an introductory article, notes, name and subject indexes. The second volume of Hegel's Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences contains a revised and revised translation of the Philosophy of Nature. This work of Hegel is an interesting attempt to comprehend from a philosophical point of view the knowledge about nature that had been accumulated by the beginning of the 19th century. Even where Hegel's point of view is outdated or simply erroneous, it belongs to a brilliant master of dialectical logic and contains witty logical moves and insights. The publication is supplied with notes, subject and nominal index. Philosophy of Spirit is the final part of Hegel's Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences. This work reveals the teachings of the German philosopher about man, human consciousness and activities and consists of three sections: subjective spirit, objective spirit and absolute spirit, which are understood by Hegel as the stages of self-development of the idea. Although based on idealism, Hegel expresses brilliant conjectures about man as a social being, about the dialectical nature of the world-historical process.

The condition of the books is good, but with nuances. There are traces of pencil erasure in volume 1, there are very small marks with a pen on several pages, the edge of the title is carefully glued and the edges of two sheets are glued with adhesive tape (last photo). In volume 2, on the second spread of the book, there is a signature in pen (penultimate photo). There are scuffs on the edges of the spines of the books.
