Jaan Kross (1920–2007) is a world famous Estonian classic. He was nominated several times for the Nobel Prize. Poet and prose writer. Many of the writer's works were translated into Russian and published in the USSR in huge editions, as one of the historical novels "The Imperial Madman" (1978, Russian text - 1985). The children's story-tale "March's bread" (1973, first in Russian - 1974) takes you to the Middle Ages. Right from the Town Hall Square of the Old Town, where you can even today go to that very old Pharmacy ... And ask for a cure for human unkindness and stupidity ...
