The book includes a one-act play and short stories of a memoir and essayistic nature about post-war childhood, first steps on the stage, about the everyday life and customs of the stars and unknown heroes of the “big chess” in the vastness of the Soviet empire of the late 1980s. The author of the book, a famous musician, has been living in Berlin for the last 16 years, which has given him a wealth of material for his emigrant cycle of stories. In recent years, the author has written more than three hundred songs, composed six plays (four staged on the Berlin stage), and shot three short films.
