The book's analysis of irremovable paradoxes identified in an attempt to formalize the foundations of mathematics and logic leads to the conclusion that paradoxes are not a defect in our thinking, but its natural property. The cultural norm of extreme alienation of the object of consciousness from the state of consciousness is not the only possible one. The second part of the book provides historical examples of cultures with different norms of mental connection between the individual and society.
