Each chapter provides some recommendations for the operation of individual elements, assemblies and systems. Add. Information: For specialists in the field of aviation. From the introduction: The Tu-134 high-speed jet passenger aircraft is an all-metal cantilever monoplane with a low swept wing, a single-keel swept T-tail and a tricycle landing gear (Fig. 1. 1). It is designed to carry passengers, baggage and mail on intra-Union and international airlines of medium and short distances. The aircraft is designed to carry up to 7,700 kg of payload (including 72 passengers, baggage and cargo) for a range of up to 1,970 km, and when the payload is reduced to 4,000 kg, for a range of 3,380-3,570 km at a cruising speed of 770-870 km/h Good takeoff and landing characteristics of the aircraft ensure its operation from class II airfields with a runway length of 1,800 m or more. The equipment of the aircraft with modern means of radio navigation, radar and instrument landing makes it possible to carry out regular flights day and night in difficult meteorological conditions. Landing approach is provided in conditions corresponding to the 1st category of ICAO requirements. The aircraft is equipped with two double-circuit turbojet engines. They are housed in gondolas attached to horizontal pylons in the rear fuselage. The crew of the aircraft consists of four people: two pilots, a navigator and a flight engineer. The co-pilot simultaneously performs the functions of a radio operator, and the navigator - the operator of the ROZ-1 radar used on the aircraft for the purposes of navigation and terrain survey in the absence of visibility. There is also a pilot station in the cockpit.
