More info

Readers know the name of Alexander Borshchagovsky from many books. In 1953, the first major work of fiction written by him was published - the historical novel "Russian Flag" (about the heroic defense of Petropavlovsk-on-Kamchatka during the Crimean War). In subsequent years, the novels "The Milky Way", "Where the Blacksmith Settles", the stories "Alarming Clouds", "The Gray Seagull", "Gone Missing" and many others were published. The Publishing House of Political Literature published two books of journalism by A. Borshchagovsky - "The Madness of the Brave..." and "The Crowd of the Lonely". The historical theme occupies an important place in the writer's work. The story of A. Borschagovsky "Sechen" (the first edition was published in 1978 in the series "Flaming Revolutionaries") is dedicated to the life and courageous struggle of the student and comrade-in-arms of V. I. Lenin, the Bolshevik Ivan Vasilyevich Babushkin. The plot is based on the last period of the life of IV Babushkin. The story received a positive response from readers and the press. It comes out in the second edition.
