“Secrets of the Russian Court” - this is how you can briefly define the content of this publication. The proposed documents and letters from the archive of P. A. Badmaev, a Tibetan doctor and politician of the early 20th century, could not be more eloquently illustrating the atmosphere of court intrigues, implicated in mysticism and superstition and developing according to the scenario of interested parties. The book contains interesting original documents, letters, memos and projects of Badmaev himself, other famous figures of that time, including the Minister of Finance S. Yu. Witte and the notorious Grigory Rasputin, directly or indirectly shedding light on some facts of Russian history literally on the eve of the October Revolution of 1917 of the year. The publication will be of interest to a wide range of readers, especially those who prefer non-fiction.

(Dietmar Gerhard Stüdemann)
