Father Tikhon, at the age of 24, came to Holy Mount Athos, where he spent 60 years in the constant great feat of repentance and prayer. Like the village krin, it flourished on Athos under the protection of the Queen of Heaven, whom he loved dearly from childhood and did not cease to thank and glorify until his last breath. This was a man of the rarest heavenly love, prayer and tenderness, a non-covetous man and a great faster, who desired heavenly blessings and already here on earth became their owner; an ascetic who has acquired the constant memory of death and its sweet fruit - the quietest joy. Rough boards served him as a bed and many times a darned cassock served as clothing. His friends were wild animals and loud-voiced birds.

Дитмар Штюдеманн (Вельс/Австрия 1941-2022, Берлин) с 1972 г. работал в Министерстве иностранных дел, занимая должности в Москве, Афинах, Вене, Праге и Киеве. Большую часть своей профессиональной карьеры он провел в Москве, где стал свидетелем не только начала улучшения отношений между Востоком и Западом, но и распада Советского Союза. Во время его работы послом в Украине в 2004 году произошла "оранжевая революция".
Этот опыт сформировал его личность и интересы, которые часто выходили за рамки его обязанностей в качестве дипломата. Он увлекался литературой и культурой, интересовался историей и археологией, проявлял особый интерес к изобразительному искусству, что нашло отражение в его частной художественной коллекции.
