The first section - “Materials and communications” - opens with an article by S. A. Fomichev, which reveals the features of the psychology of Pushkin’s creativity associated with the emergence of the concept and plan of his works. The work of O. S. Muravyova traces the motif of the “dead beloved” in Pushkin’s poetry. The article by V. E. Gusev contains new information about the creative relationship between Pushkin and Karadzic.

In the “Reviews” section, the publication of the annotated index of Pushkin literature prepared by V.V. Zaitseva, which appeared in print in 1986, continues. It also contains a review of reference works on the poetry of Pushkin and his contemporaries, made by V.S. Baevsky.

As usual, the third section of the “Notes” issue is extremely diverse and extensive, highlighting previously unknown facts of Pushkin’s biography and his literary circle. It also provides a real, historical, literary and textual commentary on various works of the poet. Articles by Yu. P. Fesenko, Vas. Molkosyan, S.V. Shumikhina and K.S. Yuryeva form a group of materials of an archival and source study nature.
