Поэзия Пушкина, или Подвижный палимпсест

The book examines the evolution of Pushkin's poetry in its dialogue with the Russian poetic tradition. Meeting of Zhukovsky, Batyushkov and Ivan Barkov in `Ruslan and Lyudmila`; parodic overtones of southern poems; Vladimir Lensky as a poet-pornographer; deconstruction of elegy and ballad in poetry of the 1820s; the transformation of the myth of the sacred state into the myth of the sacred personality in Pushkin's late poetry - these are some of the themes of the new monograph. The `Appendices` include works that show the connection between trousers, tailcoats and vests with a polemic about the old and new syllables (`Eugene Onegin`). The understanding of intertextuality proposed by the author is largely polemical in relation to poststructuralist (and especially deconstructionist) literary criticism.
