Фаина Раневская

Faina Georgievna Ranevskaya is a great Russian actress, People's Artist of the USSR. She began performing on the stage of the theater in pre-revolutionary times. She starred in the cult Soviet films "Spring", "Foundling", "Dream". She was friends with Anna Akhmatova, Lyubov Orlova, Rostislav Plyatt. During her lifetime she became a legend. These memoirs were written by the architect A.V. Shcheglov, the son of her closest friend, actress I.S. Wolf, in whose family Ranevskaya lived all her life. She herself carried Leshenka Shcheglov from the hospital, called him "ersatz-grandson" and was very close to him.
