The devil has risen from the underworld in a provincial town, ironically once named Epiphany. The ancient tempter has returned with new strength, and now no one can hide from his fury. He is always there. He plays by his own rules and, enjoying shuffling human vices, easily manipulates base passions. Satan destroys without remorse. He is not at all like the classical Mephistopheles. He has a thousand names, and even more disguises and masks behind which the Beast of the Harvest is hidden. Now everything is not what it seems. And voodoo witchcraft, and ritual murders, and teenage gangs, and an extensive drug network, and sadistic teachers, and juvenile prostitutes, and cynical city dwellers - in fact, are only visible links of the coming End of the World. Who can stop the inevitable horror?
