More info

Leonid Ilyich Borisov wrote more than one book for schoolchildren. The young reader enjoys great love for his books: the story "Jules Verne", about the French science fiction writer Jules Verne, and the story "Under the Flag of Catriona", about the English writer Stevenson.
In 1960, Leonid's story was published in Detgiz Borisov about the work of the great Russian composer N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov on the last opera, The Golden Cockerel.
Leonid Ilyich dedicated his new book, The Generous Knight, to the youth of the Russian pianist and composer S. V. Rachmaninov. The author warmly and captivatingly tells how the young musician created his first opera "Aleko", how he worked creatively and generously gave people his rich talent.
