More info

Well-known Czechoslovak travelers, journalists Miroslav Zikmund and Jiří Ganzelka talk about their trip in a Tatra car through two South American countries - Peru and Ecuador. Risking their lives, they go to the tribe of Shuar Indians, nicknamed "skull hunters". The authors lived for several weeks among the Shuar in the virgin forests of Ecuador, and were received by the Indians as friends. With this book, Hanzelka and Zikmund expose the false racist allegations about the natural bloodthirstiness of the original owners of the Ecuadorian land. The book contains photographs, maps, illustrations.
