More info

This book introduces the reader to the essence and basic principles of mathematical logic. To do this, first of all, a number of simple, but very important concepts are introduced and refined (structure, system, model, etc.), and then these concepts are associated with some already established terms of mathematics (such as, for example, function, argument). This allows us to more fully formulate the essence of mathematical logic and its difference from the usual sections of mathematics. On the example of the analysis of the "black box" behavior, the main types of logical relations are shown and the most important laws of mathematical logic are stated. The final chapter is devoted to the problem of the connection of mathematical logic and mathematics with traditional Aristotelian logic, as well as to finding out what are the objective reasons that prevent the solution of this problem. A book in which much attention is paid to the original concepts and their linking with the common sense of a person, based on life experience , will be available to the reader who does not have any mathematical background. Specialists - mathematicians, engineers and, in general, researchers who use logical and mathematical methods in their work will find a lot of interesting things in it.
