The domestic and foreign experience in the design, calculation and design of industrial robots (IR) of the aggregate-modular type is generalized. Examples of characteristic structures are given, methods for calculating and designing structural modules with drives of various types are given. Methods for kinematic and dynamic calculation of standard layouts, an algorithm for automated design of modular PR are outlined. The recently developed dynamic control algorithms for PR used in various technological operations are described.
