The album is dedicated to Nikolai Pavlovich Akimov (1901-1968) - a Soviet painter and book graphic artist, theater artist, director and teacher, from 1935 to 1949 and from 1956 until the end of his life, who headed the Leningrad Comedy Theater, People's Artist of the USSR. After the death of Akimov, a huge artistic heritage remained: portraits, book graphics, easel and theater graphics, sketches of scenery and costumes.
