Yuri Karabchievsky lives in Moscow, but all his works: poems, articles, prose, literary studies - until 1988 were published only in the West. The most famous book abroad and in Russia was Mayakovsky's Resurrection, published in Munich in 1985 and awarded the Vladimir Dahl Prize (Paris jury chaired by Viktor Nekrasov). In 1990, this book was published by the publishing house "Soviet Writer", "Housesickness" - the first collection of prose by Yu. Karabchievsky. The novel "The Life of Alexander Zilber", the stories "Longing for Armenia" and "Unforgettable Mishunya" were published at different times in Soviet and foreign magazines.
