“Every verse is a child of love,” wrote M. Tsvetaeva. And more than any of the poets, this definition applies to herself, for the basis of her work is love lyrics. This edition includes poems from different years. These poems have different addressees, who themselves, as individuals, were sometimes immeasurably smaller than the feeling, the flame that was kindled by the poet’s wild imagination. The real heroine of Tsvetaeva's poetry is love: "...I will never go into a lover, always into love."
