Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Lokhvitskaya - the famous Teffi - one of the most prominent figures in Russian literature of the early 20th century. Teffi's humorous stories were read in both palaces and huts. Her talent was highly appreciated by Bunin and Kuprin, Aldanov and Zoshchenko.

In addition to the stories, this collection includes “Memoirs” - a true story about the author’s journey across Russia along with a huge wave of emigrants.
