The books are in good condition, but there are mini cracks on the bottom of the spines. In one volume, a section of a block of pages turned yellow.

The first volume includes the most significant written and oral speeches of the writer both in the USSR (1969-1974), before his forced expulsion, and in exile, until 1994 - that is, until the author returned to Russia. The reader will find in this volume the famous Nobel lecture, articles from the collection “From Under the Blocks,” a Harvard speech, a Templeton lecture, articles “How can we develop Russia?”, “The Russian question” by the end of the 20th century,” Speech at the International Academy of Philosophy and etc.

The second volume presents, in chronological order, the writer’s public speeches for the years 1965-1981. The reader will find in this volume a wide variety of journalistic genres: open letters, articles, appeals, newspaper, magazine, television and radio interviews, statements, conversations, press conferences.

In the third volume, for the first time, articles, letters, public statements, interviews with the writer for the years 1982-1994, right up to his return to his homeland, are collected and published in chronological order. More than half of them have never been published in Russia. In this volume, in addition to political journalism, literary critical essays and interviews on literary topics occupy a significant place. Prefaces to books (1971-1991) are placed in a separate section. The volume ends with “Grammatical Considerations,” the fruit of the author’s reflections on the current state of Russian spelling.
