Before the reader is a complete translation into Russian of the letters of the Roman writer and statesman Pliny the Younger (61 or 62 - approx. 114). Compared to the 1st edition, the translation has been thoroughly revised stylistically, and in the “Additions” section there are translations of two inscriptions related to the biography of Pliny the Younger. The publication was prepared by M.E. Sergeenko, A.I. Dovatur.
