This book is about Ludwig Beethoven - a great composer and a great citizen.
In the book, the author of the immortal Ninth Symphony appears against the backdrop of a turbulent era. The titanic figure of Beethoven is “inscribed” in the picture of that upsurge in Western Europe, which was also the herald of the “spring of nations,” which was not coincidentally marked by the triumphs of Beethoven’s works in Vienna, Paris, Prague and other centers of revolutionary explosions.
In his book, B. Kremnev uses artistic means to recreate the everyday environment of that time, showing the people who surrounded Beethoven.
