The poems included in this book often look like they were written in the margins of some serious research, they are generated by reading and understanding the history of the twentieth century and thinking about what kind of continuation this story will have in the future (according to Nemtsev, rather bleak). The poet is occupied by several plots that appear again and again in the book: the fate of peoples during the Second World War, the instability of the practices of memory associated with them, the foreboding of new social catastrophes that may turn out to be no less bloody. All these problems are accumulated in the cycle of "Bad Memory", where the combination of research and proper poetic logic is most obvious.

Mikhail Nemtsev was born in 1980 in the city of Biysk, Altai Territory. Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, main profession - teacher of philosophy and history. Played in amateur theatre. Actively participated in the development of the literary community of Novosibirsk. Twice he was longlisted for the well-known literary award "Debut".
Poems and other works were published in literary almanacs and magazines "Homo Legends", "TextOnly", "Likbez", "Siberian Lights", "Air", network almanac "Tram". Separate editions of the story were published in the stories "Texts-Doors" (Novosibirsk: Artel "Vasinary Labor", 2008), books of poetry "Intellectualism" (Omsk: Amphora, 2015), There is no Death (Novosibirsk-Moscow, 2015, together with Ivan Poltoratsky and Dmitry Korolev) .
