The book contains Russian translations of the last three significant philosophical texts of the outstanding philosopher and church leader of the 15th century. Nicholas of Cusa (1401-1464), created by him in Rome in the last years of his life. These include the treatise Compendium (late 1463), as well as the dialogues The Hunt for Wisdom (late 1462-early 1463) and On the Peak of Contemplation (April 1464). Summing up his long-term philosophical searches in them, Nicholas of Cusa in all three works sets out his new vision of the absolute origin as an unlimited possibility: “possibility of being” (possest) in “The Hunt for Wisdom” or simply “opportunities” or “I can” (posse ) in the works "Compendium" and "On the peak of contemplation".
